    Hi,
I've heard that some electricity suppliers have the price cheaper at night and Sundays. How about Eletric Ireland? Is that true?
    Thanks and regards,
    Rafael

    Hi rafaelprofi,

With Electric Ireland, there is no difference in the cost of electricity on Sundays; it is the same as Monday to Saturday. We are unaware of any cheaper electricity unit cost on Sundays.

With regards to evenings: a NightSaver meter provides a cheaper unit rate of electricity from 11pm until 8am in the winter, and from 12 midnight to 9am in the summer; and a higher rate of electricity than the standard 24-hour one during the remaining hours of the day.

With Electric Ireland, the NightSaver unit rates in cents are (including VAT): 0.2062 (day), 0.1019 (night).

The standard 24-hour electricity unit rate in cents, with Electric Ireland, is: 0.1931 (including VAT).

We also offer discounts for direct debit, online billing, and registering for gas as well as electricity.

    Regards,
    Una
