    To our customers

Service in many areas continues to be impacted as a result of power or structural damage from Wednesday’s storm. The weather conditions continue to create issues in some areas.
These areas are largely in the South and Southwest.

Our engineers are currently working with the ESB and local authorities to get full service returned as quickly as possible.

There are an Estimated 85K customers without service
We have 1400 technical staff working to restore service- they are doing Trojan work in the field
Working closely with the ESB and authorities at a local level to prioritise and coordinate efforts
We hope to make significant progress during the day as power is restored to exchanges and masts
There has been some structural damage and we are working on those repairs
Unfortunately some areas will experience longer delays and in some cases weeks before service can be restored.
Worst impacted counties – Limerick, Carlow, Cork, Tipperary, Wexford, Kerry, Waterford, Kilkenny

We appreciate your patience and would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused

Customers are reminded, where possible, to log faults on the “Log a Fault” section of our website (www.eircom.ie/logafault) or through our automated customer service line 1901 or on our eircom WebChat agents here. Faults can be reported to either service 24 hours a day, seven days week.

We would like to reassure all of our customers who are currently experiencing a disruption to their telephone and broadband service that we are working as quickly as possible to repair all outstanding faults.
