Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Lego fans!
We are off to the USA on our holidays. I was wondering if anyone had ever come across a Lego shop in the big outlet cerntes? I think there might be one in Washington?
    Anyone find any bargains?
We have an 8 year old lego nut! Would be delighted with himself!

There's a list of retail stores in the US here:

    http://stores.lego.com/en-us/stores

Not sure if Washington is there, since I'm not familiar with the zip code of the state :o

You won't be short of options in the US, though - you have Walmart, Toys R Us, and Target as alternatives. TRU has sizeable mark-ups by all accounts, though.

    Thanks for the replies!
Paddy, any idea if the Lego was good value...what you would expect from an outlet? Can imagine that the adults will do some shopping. Don't want the little fella to think he'll be on a spree, if the prices are similar to home!

The mall is a bit weird - it's branded as an outlet mall, but a lot of the stores are perma-sale type places, not sure it's really the place to get a bargain.

The lego store is all list (US) prices + sales tax (7.5% in MD) - an example - Millennium Falcon $139.99 + 7.5% = $150.50 => €110 it's €150 in Smyths right now.....

Super cheap it isn't but it's a good bit cheaper than home - also they have everything, all the hard to find stuff, etc.

    Paddy

PS I didn't buy a Falcon BTW, I only bought one of the Easter bunny sets - and the choice of mall was because it was close to the office I was in on the day - so it wasn't somewhere I set out to visit.
