Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dowd has given soft frees today. Good ball and Cech will be in the horrors here

Chelsea are dire, moving the ball too slowly.

Ramores has been caught in possesion 2/3 times now.

City are playing so much better than the league game and weve been hopeless so far.

Match hasn't really ignited, like watching two fat chicks making out.

Ya, not throwing as many players forward as last time so not getting caught on the counter. Hazard looks dangerous though.

Our best 5 mins there, Willian and Hazard our brightest so far, Ramires should have been rest clearly

Ya it looks like Pelligrini has learned his lesson from that game alright.

Mikel seems to have carte blanche.

Mikel and etoo not b pulling their weight at all so far, torres and a winger to be brought on to inject a bit of life into us!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,033 ✭✭✭✭Richard Hillman

I dont think I have ever seen an entertaining game with John Obi Mikel playing in it.

    Let off

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Luiz got away with diving in there it could have been 2-0

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

I like Dzeko but he is morphing into Giroud.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Going in 1-0 down isnt so bad considering we havent play well at all. still in the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,920 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

No atmosphere, barely a peep from the crowd.

Chelsea won the last game cause of their unbelievable work rate.

That same work rate is missing today.

Should have been 2. Maybe a tad too much pace on the cross from Jimbo.

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

Chelsea will be happy with that all things considered. Should be a couple of goals down at least heading into half time instead of one.

City deserve to be 1-0 ahead anyway. A much better second half from us needed. Ramires has been awful.

Yaya has the countenance of a man who might explode and not in a good way.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,996 ✭✭✭Duck Soup

Eto'o has been pretty much non-existant in the first half. The only time he made an appearance was to argue with the ref about Luiz's booking.

Yup needs Oscar on soon enough or Salah or Schurrle.

He does have that petulant, ''toys out of the pram'' streak in him, particularly when he feels hard done by. A couple of decisions that he was pulled up on could have gone either way. He needs to calm down a bit.

I think City want this more.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,651 ✭✭✭stiffler123

The team is a lot better without Demichelis. Garcia has played pretty well so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

As long as it stays 1-0 we'll be in the game. if it goes 2-0 City we wont be getting back into it.

Time for Jose to make his move, this will be a fun second half either way.

Well you would think it is hard for us to get worse

Itv highlighted it, Mikel tried to press the ball and silva was in. During the league game that kind of mistake wouldnt have happened as the 3 in CM were willing to protect the back four while the rest closed down as soon as possible.
