i was wondering if i got 2 connectors and connected a wire into where the antenna went and brought the other end of the wire closer to the house and connected the antenna to that end work.

So basically i want to put camera in position a minus antenna and got maybe 20metres of wire and attached one end to camera and one end to antenna and put antenna in position b which would be 20 metres closer to receiver

Am i wasting my time?
