Does Owen even manage to be injured for commentary?

To be fair, more people want to hurt him when he's commentating, than they ever did when he was playing :P

Be interesting to see the line ups for both. Would hope Agger starts and maybe Ibe for one of the usual front three, maybe Allen to play too depending on Henderson's injury. Otherwise it should be as strong a team as possible.

You really are like a broken record with your fourth place trophy jibe.

Give it a rest for gods sake. Its both childish and tiresome and probably for Liverpool fans too.

Don't understand the hatred for him.

if its a draw will there be extra time or a replay?

Giroud has just gone off apolagising on twitter for shagging around, odd timing with the game kicking off in over an hour.

He's an obnoxious **** i think is the reason why most people don't like him.

Decent commentator ...better than what's about at the minute

Thank God to that. Listening to Owen's commentary makes me want to punch him in the face even more than I did before.

As someone said before, "If I was on a desert island with Michael Owen and a tin of corned beef, I'd eat Michael Owen and talk to the corned beef."

He offers little to nowt insightful while babbling on using catchphrases and cliches constantly. Still better than Owen mind you, but sure, that's not difficult.

I miss Gray rambling on about Rafa's zonal marking obsessively while covering his eyes to the constant failing seen in man marking though.

Quietly confident about this though I wouldn't be surprised to see Arsenal win it.

    2-1 or 1-2.

Happy with that team apart from the keeper.

Why would you rest the keeper? Other than Rodgers having made a commitment to play Jones as the Cup keeper of course (two clean sheets so far).

    Sanogo starts for Arsenal apparently.
Arsenal: Fabianski; Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Koscileny, Monreal; Arteta, Flamini; Chamberlain, Ozil, Podolski; Sanogo
    Hurray

Giroud is being dropped, not rested imo. Hes been dreadful recently. Can't believe I'm agreeing with Turty that this is a positive for Arsenal :pac:

No idea why Woj isn't playing. Goalies don't need to be rested

It's a loan for a 3rd choice keeper. The reason he's been pointless is because Szczesny hasn't been injured.

The FA Cup needs to be more rewarding financially. You can forgive the Champions League clubs for giving priority to the midweek games.

Forgot it was a loan. Just think its pretty pointless loaning in a 3rd choice keeper, especially one with his experience. Pretty much every other club promotes a youth keeper for 3rd choice. Surprised he agreed to it looking at his apperences on wiki.

Some people need to get over themselves regarding Brad Jones. He's no world beater but he has been fine whenever called upon. There seems to be some baseless assumption built up that he's a fumbling disaster.

And the more we see that glorious quiff the happier we should all be.

1: Giroud has not been dropped, he just needs a rest.

2: Resting players against Bayern Wed and taking an exit at this stage would be the most spineless thing a manager has ever done.

Ya but a club that hasn't won anything in 8 years that claims to be a big club should really be trying to win a domestic cup.

To be fair us Liverpool supporters cannot really crow on that front either. In the seven seasons since we last won the FA cup the only silverware we have gotten is the League cup.
