Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ya but a club that hasn't won anything in 8 years that claims to be a big club should really be trying to win a domestic cup.

They are doing all right for themselves on other fronts, so rotation isn't a bad thing. Utilize the squad.

1-0 Arsenal in a close game.

Gooners much tighter in mid-field than last week.

It's all about managing your squad. I'm sure he feels that team is capable of beating Liverpool at The Emirates.
It will be a masterstroke if they pull it off and a brainfart if they don't, that's just the way it goes.
Look at the United team that knocked Liverpool out of the League Cup, more or less a second string side started that game.

They dropped the plate last time out, anything can happen.

    Thanks pal.

French was never my strong point and when typing it I knew it would be picked up on :)

(P.s) if the game is to be replayed at Anfield I vote you to do the match thread with that title.

Could use it for Quarter final if Liverpool win today

    Yes.

Now that is one hell of an incentive to perform today.

True, they do look a much better team this year though.

I'd have preferred to get City in the next round. If you want to win the cup, your going to have to beat City at some stage. If they're going to beat you, may as well do it now then in the final

We're not a big club. Sure we haven't won a trophy in ages.

I just realised it's probably Micahel Owen commentating on this on BT. Disaster will have to mute the TV yet again

Some people need to get over themselves regarding Brad Jones. He's no world beater but he has been fine whenever called upon. There seems to be some baseless assumption built up that he's a fumbling disaster.

And the more we see that glorious quiff the happier we should all be.

    /cue 2 OGs and a sending off

Have absolutely no confidence in him. Distribution isn't great, poor enough in the air and isn't a great shot stopper either.
Probably have a blinder now (just trying to negate your jinx).

Sure he's a bit of a sexist old dinosaur.

But Gray always was a great co-commentator.

If you mention that you're trying to negate the jinx, it doesn't work and in fact makes it a double jinx.

Whatever about his behaviour off air, I always enjoyed him on the big games. He, Tyler and Keyes were the face and voice of the Premier league and Sky Sports after all.

Glad to see/hear him back on UK TV myself

Arsenal never press the mid just stand back and let miss pick a pass out

Agree completely. He's been on Bein Sports with Richard keys for ages now so it felt like he never went away.
