Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The game has been a tad disappointing so far, was hoping for a few goals.

Ref isn't card happy. He's given some fairly merited cards. The game is fairly feisty.

That's not a fair reflection on the game. Arsenal have been the better team here, no question.

Both posts are wrong. It's been an even game, but Liverpool had more clear cut chances.

ALL players do this, jeez. People need to relax.

Your sarcasm detector needs a service.

****ty half really. Liverpool need a spark from somewhere and need to stop getting riled up by Webb and his ego.

I don't think Arsenal have been as bad physically as people are making them out. We're a bit sloppy. Sturridge should have done something early on with the chances. Can't see us finishing with 11.

Bring on Hendo and push Luis more forward role .

Suarez to come in more central.

Yep....accommodating Sturridge by moving him might bring out the best in Sturridge but Suarez is offering a lot less since he has been moved.

Said at the start we'd miss Henderson.

Really frustrating game. For the second time we have outplayed Arsenal and they respond by trying to knock lumps out of us. The referee again gives no protection whatsoever. The only positive is that Jack Wilshere isn't out there as well decapitating our players.

He protected Sterling there just fine. Should have been red by the letter of the law.

It's called getting your excuses in early
Brave man making that post :pac:
Don't you know at least 10 people will quote you after the game if things turn around.

Hand on the ref and nothing.

Was it Di Canio who got a lengthy ban?

Blaming Webb for how the first have is going is just excuse making

agree with you but it shows how much that time has changed that now Arsenal are resorting to kicking lumps out of Pool to live with them, what did they have - one shot in the whole half?

to be fair, with webb as referee it's a clever tactic

The suggestion that Arsenal are hacking lumps out of Liverpool is completely overstated and the suggestion that if Wilshere came on he'd represent an even greater danger to the Liverpool players is hilarious.

Think it's been fairly even to be honest with chances for both sides.

100% need Hendo on, but we're more than capable of scoring here.

Sanogo's done a decent job. Swung and missed a few times, but by and large made a positive contribution, did well for the goal.

Di Canio shoved the ref over onto his arse.

A red for gently touching his tit would be harsh.

Is the law actually that you can't touch the ref at all?

Liverpool have had the better chances but Arsenal have been in charge for the majority.

I've seen many posters on LFC page talk about after coming back as a cure for defense problems. He is getting bullied and pushed around by a debutant which for a player of his experience is very disappointing. He needs to man the fcuk up and teach this lad who is boss and quickly too.

Pool fans getting carried away with the 5-1 freak result last week. Ye are playing away to the team that has led the Premier League for 99% of the season ffs. Be realistic.

It's even funnier after the hacking down of 3 Arsenal players on the break.

If BT want Andy Gray to continue commentating for the second half, they need to tie a rope around him in case he disappears completely up Gerrard's arse.

Still able to cheat, looking for a corner off a ball he kicked out.

Why you not calling the Arsenal defender a cheat there at the end when ball goes out off him and he claims a goal kick and gets it?

You'd swear the ref has sent off 2 Liverpool players and booked the rest of the team the way some are whining.

Pretty even game so far, there's a few goals left in it I think

Kolo certainly touched the ref the other night against Fulham.
Knocked him over too. No card.

    Who's getting carried away?

Liverpool were outsiders today from the off.

You could argue that Arsenal fans were getting carried away before last weeks game if you are heading down that route

He done yous a massive favour just there.

Gets the call right then there is no reaction from Sterling, or give him a free he gave one out for Arsenal earlier for the same thing

Well, when Allen, Coutinho & Sterling are all playing, Liverpool look very lightweight.

Its easy for an opponent to physically dominate.

He needed to make that up so he could get in the second half of the sentence.
