Hello! A friend of mines connection on his USB stick broken. The stick has some very important stuff for college on it.

We seem to think the PCB is intact.

Are there any shops around Dublin that will fix it? He doesn't want to touch himself and reckons the Chinese repair shops in town might do it.

    Any thoughts??

ANY pc repair shop can fix it,
theres 4 wires that go onto usb flash chip,
one wire may be need to be resoldered.

have you got an old usb cable ,to use on it.
or buy a cable in 2 euro shop.

    its a 5 minute job.

    depending on the design,

THE shell ,usb case may need to be cut or forced open, to acess the connectors.

ask em to fix it on the spot,
eg i,ll be back in 10 mins,
    or 30 minutes.
go to a pc repair shop,in moore st
    not a phone shop
