Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm looking for a British equivalent of Boards.ie as I would like to ask some questions about college in the UK. Thanks

    What?

I find the studentroom has a really nasty vibe off it, a lot of really aggressive and snobby posting.

I agree with you there, do you know of any similar websites which I can check out?

To be honest, boards.ie seems to be very unique, this forum is all that's left of the attempt to expand into the UK. Off the top of my head I've yet to find anything even vaguely similar to boards in Britain.

I used to post a lot there in the past before I discovered boards.

I would have to agree with you when it comes to the "nasty vibes". There were loads of examples of racism and social-darwinism being thrown around, and a huge deficit in craic!

    Would not return.

You'd probably be better off posting on a sports team's forum, say it was around Liverpool, then you could use one of the Liverpool/Everton ones, just don't get them mixed up!
