Keeping runners on bike

    Apologies if this comes across as a silly question but in an adventure race when I change into my cycling shoes where do I put my runners, like is there something I can get so as to attach them to the bike?

    I would rather avoid having to carry the likes of a backpack as I don't feel it's justified for the distances involved.
