I'd love to know why Barca have stuck with Valdes for so long, he is a complete liability and always has been. He doesn't come close to the real top goalkeepers in world football.

True but compared to pinto he's amazing! I think barca prefer loyalty to actual defensive abilities. I've never seen such a successful team that defends so poorly. Virtually every time they defend they look like they could concede.

They could have had Reina anytime in the last 7/8 years, he would have been perfect for them as his distribution is probably his strongest asset.

Ter Stegen will make such a massive difference to them.
