Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bayern are awesome. To think they will have Lewandowski next year and god knows who else....

This must be utterly miserable for the Arsenal players.

All the money and beautiful women and so on disappears from your head if you're having to trudge through the muck like this.

if we can get out of this 1 nil down i'll be pleasantly surprised

It's just incredible a club the size of arsenal have a player like him up front in their biggest game of the season. It's unforgivable from wenger. A Berbatov or even a Darren bent would be a better option.

I'd agree, but you can't legislate for your senior player in the position going off and having an affair either.

It is one of the problems of moving forward in three competitions. If we were just involved in one, we could afford not to rotate. Look at the team we put out with 7 changes on Saturday against Liverpool and beat them even though they couldn't or wouldn't change their team because of the real weaknesses in their squad.

79 of 82 passes completed for Kroos (nearly half of Bayern's total), a good few long distance ones too. Class act.

Was wondering how he was doing percentage wise, some very impressive passes in the last 20 mins.

    how is kroos underrated

Bayern are supposedly considering selling him.

Most people wouldn't list him in the same class as passer like Pirlo or Xavi, he definitely is.

Best to take Ozil off, not the sort of player that can track back and help out. Especially with 10 men, he hasn't got the work rate for it.

    Rosicky on for ozil.

risky - could mean Arsenal end up playing with 9

As much as I like Bayern and do think they are and incredible team lets not forget it took a red card and a penalty miss from Ozil before they started to look impressive against Arsenal.

    Fans have been immense.

Good god I hate Robben so much.

Bayern just toying with Arsenal now.

That feels like a long time ago. I think Bayern would have got on top anyway but they did start slowly no doubt.

yeah, very tiring chasing the shadows out there.

as an aside Robben must be a nightmare to defend against. he's quick, clever and topples if touched.

I'd love to have a full pitch view of this. I get the impression Bayerns line is about 10 yards into the Arsenal half much of the time.

That's 2 very strange substitions by Wenger.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,480 ✭✭✭✭cson

    That's a bad decision.

Ox was having a good game.

WHAT! FFS Wilshire is limping apparently!!! Rosicky should be replacing him. This could be very costly indeed!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

Risky move to bring Rosicky on but his energy will come in very useful

Arsenal look very lucky to have gotten away with that no peno call.

    That's a penalty

Come on Arsenal. Sneak your way to 90 mins and then the set piece goal.

  • Site Banned Posts: 4,925 ✭✭✭Agueroooo

0-1 wouldn't be a bad result at all for Arsenal considering over 45mins with 10 men

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,762 ✭✭✭jive

Bayern are supposedly considering selling him.

Most people wouldn't list him in the same class as passer like Pirlo or Xavi, he definitely is.

Apparently and it was also apparently down to money not ability. Pirlo and Xavi are 34, Kroos is 24. Probably something due to the decade extra the other 2 have had performing consistently at the top level as to why people don't class them in the same bracket.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,480 ✭✭✭✭cson

Yep that's a pen for Muller

Terrible tracking (or lack thereof) again from Ozil.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,496 ✭✭✭quarryman

Ozil looks like he has no interest being there.

Billy-big-bollocks in his head me thinks.

Ozil has been utter toilet tonight.

Since the penalty miss his head dropped and that was it.

His is such a one footed player it's amazing he is so successful at the highest level.

Money isn't that big a deal when you're talking about top players. It's not like Bayern are stuck for it anyway.

Collins and whelan are awful commentators. Awful

would rather watch the game on mute than listen to Ronnie Whelan voice ,he is painful to listen to.

You should still be able to do your job though. Give her the credit card for the week she will be alright.

Theyre not stuck for top midfielders either

Ozil seems pretty fragile mentally unfortunately. Prodigiously talented but not a leader.

I heard it was lack of playing time
