Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Haven't been that impressed with Bayern by their standards since the sending off. The moment of magic aside, they haven't been that incisive. While the tie is likely over anyway, now is the time to bury it.

I got flamed as far back as Oct when I questioned Ozil and his performance in the second half of games, especially last 20 mins or so.

I wasn't having a go and was a genuine question. ..is there something physiology, or something else going on.

I have also been informed it was similar at Madrid where he done most if his damge in the first hour.

God we really miss Walcott for games like this.

FS Ozil let Robben run by him again!!!

Bayern are supposedly considering selling him.

Most people wouldn't list him in the same class as passer like Pirlo or Xavi, he definitely is.

He's playing the game with them to get an improved contract. He's going nowhere.

Arsenal are a bit lucky that Bayern's finishing has been woeful tonight.

How many clearcut chances have they had though? Arsenal have been excellent in blocking and clearing.

That feels like a long time ago. I think Bayern would have got on top anyway but they did start slowly no doubt.

Maybe they would have but all we can do is speculate.

But we do know it took the red card for this Bayern team to lookthis good up to that point it wasn't all going there way.

Less than 10 mins for an Arsenal player to make themselves a hero and dropkick Gotze!

Arsenal have no out ball at all now.
Poor Sanogo tried hard but this is a bridge too far for him at this stage of his career.

holding them to a 1-0 wouldn't be a total disaster.

I fricking love Flamini. The man plays with such immense passion. Always gives 100%

    That Toni Kroos ain't bad...

Would make a fine replacement for Evra with a bit of work.

Could easily mould him into a world class left back

Bayern are playing like 10 men + Robben.

"Ill just hang around here and go for goal once I get the ball, you guys do all that passing **** if you want"

With any luck booting both him and the ball high into the roof of the net beyond Neuer for the equalizer.

You are correct. He was subbed in the vast majority of his games for RM, usually after 65-70 mins.

Great player but serious question marks over his conditioning and mental toughness can be raised.

Well they were already getting on top prior to the sending off. Granted it just made it easier for them since.

He has impressed me tonight, great attitude, full of running and some glimpses of nice skills.

If you could bottle his will to win and give Ozil a few cases.

Can't fault Arsenals effort tonight. A man down against the best team in the world.

The likes of Koscienly, Flamini, Ox and Sanogo can be proud of how they performed.

I still wouldn't concede the tie hard yes but over far from it and same goes for City to write off a team from a 2-0 deficit is crazy.

Hate to say i told you so.....

credit to the team, very hard task against the best team in the world 50 mins with 10 men.

Such a shame Pizarro chose to finish up as a bench warmer at Bayern. Still a 34 game a season starter even at 35. Fantastic player.

God what I would do to have a player like Muller up front for us!
