Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    FFS.
A complete rookie. Not the match for him.
    Hoping for a miracle now.

    Sanogo to start?!

Kroos back in. Always fear him. Is Lahm playing right back instead of DM going by that??

Should be a good match, obviously bayern are a machine and I expect them to win the tie. Hopefully we're still in it. Good to see honorary gooner turdy turd is behind Arsenal all the way as usual.
The dream is we have a first twenty minutes like against napoli. The nightmare is we have a first twenty minutes like against Liverpool.
    COYG!

Munich are on a different level this year, genuinely feel that they will bounce off Arsenal tonight.

    0-4

    That's ****ing mental from Wenger.

Fair enough not starting Giroud cos his head isn't right but at least Bendtner has some experience of playing CL for us.

Sanogo has played what; ~120 minutes of senior football for us. With zero goals scored. He's been injured for most of the season.

    Wake me up, Yaya Sanogo!
I hope you're better than that c*nt from Togo!

Must have been performing in training

Cue Sanogo winner... or dropkicking Gotze I'd settle for.

Ox starts Gibbs in for Monreal and Wilshere for Arteta

Neuer is googling Sanogo as we speak.

    Lahm - Dante - Boateng - Alaba

    With Martinez sitting.

    It's a pretty decent back 4. :(

Interesting to see lahm back at full back and not in midfield, sanogo has a very tough task tonight.

Very excited about this game. I'd like to see Arsenal give them a run for their money but I think Bayern will be a bit too strong.

Why wouldn't podolski have started ahead sanogo?

Why wouldn't podolski have started ahead sanogo?

Can't play upfront alone very well. Hold up play is poor and not pacy enough to do so. Has never played well up top for us. Be brilliant in a 4-4-2 but not the way we play unfortunately.

Why wouldn't podolski have started ahead sanogo?

Sonogo did better on Sunday than pod has in that position for us, Pod plays his best football on the left not upfront on his own.

    Woah, big decision.

This will be pure brilliance from Wenger or a terrible mistake.

    Big balls once again.

Based on form we are playing our best team I think. Can't argue with it.

Apparently Bendtner is injured and Giroud has head problems.
Probably forced on Wenger in fairness because its a mad gamble otherwise.

This morning i felt we had no chance, after seeing the line I think we might just give them a hammering!

Still baffled by the fact that Wenger didn't sign a forward in January. Were they even ever really in for one?

Not playing Giroud, who is available is massive. Can't deny that.

There wasn't anyone available. No point panic buying and signing someone who's going to be sitting on the bench in a years time.

Jesus that seems mental from Wenger.

He'll be getting some stick if they don't get a result.

He is too easy to defend against for top teams, something new is needed.

I wonder when Carragher is going to be told that Sanago has been out injured for the past few months?

Whatever about Giroud, Podolski's absence is the weird one for me. Not seen as many games as Arsenal fans obviously, but any time I've seen Giroud I've thought he has the look of a player that will be at West Ham or Fulham next season.

Hopefully we do well but we're on a tightrope.

Giroud's confidence being left out of our biggest game so far this season cannot be great. Confidence player and I don't think this will help him going into future games.

Having said that if Sanogo bags one tonight I won't be complaining! :D

I'm a bit torn what with being a Bayern supporter and Arsenal being my 'adopted' EPL team but when it comes down to it I want Bayern to get through. So I'm hoping for Bayern and the only thing I don't want is something humiliating for either side.

The head says that Bayern will have too much for Arsenal, draw in the Emirates and 2 goal difference win at home.

Is Rizzoli the ref who sent Nani off last year?

Lahm looks like he's going to be holding Mertesacker's hand out onto the pitch.

For the right price, there is always someone available. Just looking at the teams that didn't make it past the group stages alone, a Jackson Martinez or Luiz Adrianno could have been available.

Shame Roy Keane's not doing punditry tonight given the two sets of players are laughing and joking in the tunnel. He would hate that. :pac:
