Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Company no longer trading/faulty product

I was wondering what I can do with a faulty product purchased from a company who recently went into liquidation and is no longer trading? Who do I go to for this to be sorted out? I know my contract of sale is with the retailer but seeing as they are no longer in existance, can I go direct to the manufacturer for a refund or replacement?

I would try contacting the manufacturer - citizensinformation.ie may be a help too.

If the product is within its warranty period then the manufacturer should sort it out for you, if it is outside the manufacturer warranty period you could try contacting the liquidator, but I wouldn't hold out too much hope if you have to go down that route tbh.

manufacturer will only look at repair or replacement is a verifiable manufacturing fault has occurred.

The manufacturer will not give you a refund.
