Still gutted. Amazing display from the Dutch batsmen but our bowlers will be disappointed, a little bit naive maybe. A big crowd and performance against Sri Lanka has to be the focus now

Despite India's comfortable win today I still don't believe they are playing their best side

Would drop Yuvraj who I think is in the side on on reputation alone now rather than on form.......Rahane in as opener and Rohit Sharma in the middle order as a finisher like he does with the Mumbai Indians

Happy to be proven wrong by Yuvraj but age is catching up with him I reckon

In what world, does hitting 190 in T20 equal a loss crazy stuff

If you bowl sh**e and don't take your catches then.......

Exactly. The amount of full tosses and half volleys served up to a side who were looking to clear the rope with every shot was laughable. We got a real wake up call today as to the inadequacies that exist in our bowling attack; none of them could bowl some containing yorkers or stop the boundaries.

So, how do we think England will get on later? Have a feeling they might come good. Could be a couple of wins for the outsiders today, England and Sri Lanka

Steyn in all sorts of trouble here v Perrera

Lanka were pre match favs against Saffers to be fair.

Don't think their is much between England and NZ, NZ have more hitters but if Morgan and Buttler fire it could be fun.

    SL 109/4 in 14 overs

SL will need 160+ to be competitive....if SA survive Malinga's spell this could be a cracker of a match

166 the target after a last ball 4. Game on

Outstanding last couple of overs from SL

Business as usual for the Sri Lankans.....AB's wicket was the key

When Du Plessis comes back SA will have a team that could potentially break their World Cup jinx......but their best batsman AB De Villiers needs to bat at 3 like Kohli does for India and control the innings

Thought it was a bit of a choke from Saffers as usual to be honest.

    Behardien :confused::confused::confused::confused:

I was very concerned after the first couple of overs with Ali at the crease, but he has played brilliantly so far and these two really are setting it up for England (there you are guys - England duly jinxed)

20 mins until cut off now.

Game abandoned. NZ win by 9 runs with D/L.

Didnt see much of the England game but they posted a decent total; NZ must have known about the possibility of rain and shot out of the blocks to get ahead of D/L did they?

Yes indeed but England should also have known what the d/l situation was. A bit petty by Broad to complain afterwards IMO.

England have a point though, its much more manageable for the batting side especially when they are in the powerplay and its clear the game will be called off soon. Just have to hit it, similar to the Dutch against us actually.

Having said that, they'd be better off shutting up about it in public and getting on with things. Its an element of cricket and in 20/20 seems even more harsh but its not gonna change. Complaining about player safety is a bit much tbh, if it had happened the other way they wouldnt be saying that for sure

Final point, its v interesting to see how winning the toss is proving to be so massive in these games, pity to see really with dew factor really coming into play in the d/n games

Util Umar Akbal went nuts that is. Great innings from him and a fantastic start for Pakistan with the ball...
