The Indians used to take great pleasure smashing him about mainly Sehwag after Mendis initially used to confuse the hell out of them.

hales has been fantastic here, props to he and Morgan.

Jos Buttler:mad:....another one of them overrated good for nothing players....England should have dropped him after that first ball brain freeze in the Champions Trophy Final last June

11 off last Maligan over, although a small bit disappointing with 2 fours to start

Superb innings from Hales ....didn't think England had a player who could out score even Morgan

That opens up the group nicely:)

Pizza for my tea followed by some humble pie. Delighted England won that. Hales and Morgan were fantastic, Ravi did a job at the end there too.

Yeah both were great although without taking away from England, I do feel with these conditions the toss is to much of a factor, nearly impossible to defend anything, not one side has chosen to defend ffs.

Still though beast innings from hales, and of course good support by Morgan.

For Lanka, Mendis was poor and Malinga has been better, not as confident about them now after that. Lets not forget they were lucky due to some dismal fielding to get to 189.

I'd fancy England to beat Saffers after today as well.;)

on the assumption that England and NZ beat Holland...
    England vs SA
    SL vs NZ
whoever wins these 2 games will go through. I'll be cheering for SA and NZ

It's about time AB Devilliers the best player in the world according to some got off his backside and contributed....SA will raise their game against England but after today's batting display I'll be rooting for England:)

SL and NZ have the advantage of playing last.....SL have got the wake up call they needed so might just squeeze past NZ

not sure about that, they were lucky that New Zealand and Netherlands especially imploded when both had the chase under control.

South Africa haven't batted as well as England did today in 20/20 cricket for a long time.

You are right however about AB, love him to bits but he and a few others mainly Quinton and Miller need to really step up and live up to their reputation.

Duminy despite what some might think can't win you every game.:pac:

Delighted for Morgan. Fantastic innings by Hales. Still think England will struggle
