    Hi there
In dublin city centre on sat to watch the rugby.
Prefer a pub with craft/world beers on tap - but anywhere I rang isn't showing the game.

Not too bothered myself but those I'm with are.

    Anybody know a place?

    Help?

If you can get a good seat, the Porterhouse in Temple Bar is great for a match, good beer and food to share.

Farrington's I'm fairly sure will be showing the game, I've watched matches there before.

    nice one guys.

I think I found a few spots to choose from.

Just on that thread linked above.

I rang Against the grain and black sheep today and either have TVs / screens anymore.

    Thanks Again

57 The Headline will be showing it (not on a huge TV mind you) and have a huge selection of craft beers on draught and in bottles.

That new bar Alfie Byrnes is doing some good deals for the rugby.

I find it quite lifeless and if you want anything other than a pale ale or a red ale you'll have to look elsewhere.

McSorley's is a much better bet in terms of variety and will have the usual rugby crowd.

I was there for the Welsh Game and the craic was good. The reason I dont go to McSorleys is because of "The Usual Rugby Crowd"........one mans meade and all that I suppose.

Farringtons where you will pay way too much for a beer, so bad suggestion.

51 Haddington road is a great spot for the rugby.

Craft Beer is fairly reasonably priced in there, I've always found.

Now, if they are creaming the macro drinkers I couldn't give a fiddlers, more fool them.

Farringtons is cheaper than most Temple Bar pubs (not that that's saying much) but I didn't notice it being more expensive than the Galway Bay pubs.

I was just glad I was able to get the Kinnegar beers on tap and some other new beers that weren't widely available such as Otter Farami (?) and Rascal's Ginger Porter.

What craft beers does the 51 carry?

i dont think Farringtons is anymore expensive then any other pub in the city centre. great selection of beer, knowledgeable/friendly staff.

always great atmosphere and a bit of craic
