we have been progressing 2 mortgage applications and are at the stage where both are about to be fully sanctioned, banks have come back almost at the same time and asked for house and solicitors details etc
should we keep both going and give both our solicitors details or should we pull out of one at this point?

its nice to have 2 available, but we are wondering will it cause problems if the solicitor has 2 mortgage packs or is it just as handy for him to have both and us to go with whatever is better on the day?

I don't think that there would be any necessity to have 2 beyond this point. Just pick the one that most suits your needs in relation to Principal offered /term/repayments/interest rate at this stage.

May I ask how long it took to get approval?

We have been waiting 3.5 weeks now. Feels like a lot longer tho!
