Replace DVD player in old Pioneer 5.1 system?

    Hi guys,

    I have the following DVD 5.1 system -> http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/products/archive/DCS-232/page.html
    It does not have an optical-in and I'd like to be able to have surround sound while watching TV.

    I have the speakers wired in behind the skirting from when my house was being built and I'd like to keep them.

    Anyone know if I could get a new DVD (or BR) player with an optical-in as a straight swap?
