Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

iPad battery

    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has experienced something similar.

My iPad's battery is acting funny. The last few times I put it charging overnight (so about 7,8 hours), the battery would only be at 84 or 87% the next morning. This never happened before.

The iPad is just over a year old, and I by no means use it exhaustively...so I guess I'm just asking, can I chalk this down to natural battery degeneration, or are there any steps I could take to tackle this?

First thing to do is give the iPad a battery calibration. Then use it as normal again and the battery percentage indicator should be back to normal.

Cheers Aodhagan...how would I go about doing a calibration?

    Apologies for my ignorance!

Use the iPad until it runs out of battery (powers off) leave it for around half an hour in that statue. Then plug the iPad in at the wall and leave it do a full charge to 100% and leave it charged for another half an hour. Then unplug the iPad and allow it to discharge normally.

You could also try doing a hard reset. Hold power & home button down until the Apple logo appears, before you perform the calibration.

Hopefully that will help fix the issue.
