British film composer Clint Mansell is playing in the National Concert Hall on the 12th October. He has scored most of Darren Aronofsky's films; The Fountain, Black Swan, Pi & Aronofsky's upcoming film Noah.
His most famous composition is probably "Lux Aeterna" from Requiem for a Dream which has appeared in a wide variety of film trailers and advertisements.

Clint will be performing with his band, alongside pianist Carly Paradis and the Sonus Quartet.

    Tickets went on sale today.

Quite a change of direction for ex-PWEI guy. Who'd have thought he'd end up playing the NCH, back in the day!

I love his movie scores. I listened to the Moon OST a few times a week for a year.
