Vented dryer

I've a new utility room which needs to be kitted out. It's been setup to take a vented dryer, but the choice of products seems limited compared to condensers.

There are a bunch of brands around the €200-€300 mark (Zanussi, Indesit, Hotpoint, Candy, Whirlpool) and then a sudden jump to Miele which is beyond my budget.

Which brands are to be recommended or avoided?

We got a Siemens, IQ300 I think it was, been great, timer to run it at night, high capacity, everything's ready for the drawers after the dry. Sourced it at Harvey Norman (wasn't on display), who did better than most online prices. I'd usually use http://www.appliancesdirect.co.uk/ to get a real idea of the ranges available, as Irish stores have very few on display.

Vented dryers are far simpler machines and IMO last far longer.
