Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How long has this guy been flogging this Ross O'Carroll Kelly thing?
I've heard this guy tell his story a million times and I believe very little of what he says. It was only ever mildly amusing, but by god has he got some mileage out of it.

I concur with this correspondent on the SNS Facebook page ...
What's with the yoke that's basically getting free advertising for her sphinx cats - at a grand apiece. For gods sake! The country is overrun with ordinary cats that nobody wants to have anything to do with, yet this yoke is hawking a speciality breed, at the paltry sum of a grand a cat and claiming that they need no special care.
    What a farce.
The license payers money would be better spent on "advertising" the many unwanted cats and other animals, who are under the care of animal rescue groups, and who are desperately struggling to find decent homes, and who really don't need any specialist care.

Breaking Dad.. That sounds like a play that was written AFTER he came up with what he thought was an amazingly clever title... Same with his stupid play...

Ah, it's a good retro insult you don't hear nearly enough anymore.

We should bring back words like that. Divilment is another.

Seems you can't walk down the street without tripping over one of these modern bluegrass bands at the moment.

I usually like them, to be fair (except that Mumford fella).

You can't conduct your business in Irish in this state where Irish is the official language, joke of a place.

Never a good idea to make legal threats to your own employer. Especially when recent events have shown that you won't have many people on your side. The Irish Times aren't likely to cave like RTE did.

    Demands ... oppressed ... minorities

You would think it was Apartheid she was whinging about. We already waste far too much on Irish.

It shouldn't be an official language so.

It shouldn't be an official language so.

But it is and until it's decided that it's not it should be accommodated, if it's voted to disband it fine.

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,749 ✭✭✭✭grey_so_what

She probably took them out in the toilet with a fada........

And they never said that again to her....
