Where to buy frozen waffles

the ones you eat with maple syrup? i have them for breakfast in canada but miss them in in ireland. eggo is one brand by kelloggs, and i know lidl do some sort of waffle but they're not frozen and taste okayish, but i wouldnt bother with them again.

i have a bottle of maple syrup but no waffles:(

Dunno about frozen, but burgerking are doing belgian waffles now, not sure it this is a new thing, I think they were on offer. Looked like you got cream or icecream and your choice of sauce, was in a sort of tray/bowl.

I've tried the McVities ones and they're very sweet.

Have you thought of making your own waffles? Lidl have a waffle maker on special for €12.99 next week, and the recipe is similar to pancake batter.

The batter keeps for a couple of days in the fridge, or you could freeze a load of waffles at a time

I was given a lidl one before, they are pretty thin and come out in heart shapes.

The nonstick coating has come off the lidl one so I do not really use it anymore. I was fairly careful in cleaning it, I would use a plastic brush but try and leave it soak, I never used any metal scourers. I did have a few things burn on though. I supposed it lasted as long as I would expect something of that price.
