Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was thinking a CB400f but the fairing is slightly off.

Similar wheels - but the exhaust is different anyway.

That was my first guess, different tank shape on it, although that could easily change.

    Cb650custom perhaps.
    Not an f anyway.
    Any pic of the back?

Did the IBT over the weekend on the instructors CBF600, now I see why everyone recommends a 600cc bike. Had no interest taking the 125 out when I got home.

It's safe to say it's a CB Custom.

Replaced by the SC (Nighthawk in North America). I guessed from memory, and was close! :)

Want to clean up the engine block on the bike folks, anyone got some recommendations for good paints/sprays to do it?

    8if6jjOm.jpg

Plan on using the Motip Wheel Spray to fix up the wheels too

I was just gona post something similar, I have some aluminum corrosion on my bike and the wheels need some attention to, I don’t really want to go through the effort of getting powder coating done. Anyone tackle something similar them selves.
Is their a bike detailing thread? Can’t find one.

I was watching the IOM TT and seprised to see electric bike race.
I think what kills the electric bike is the how long the charge will last compared to the weight it is.

There's no detaikii going to fix that, it needs to be completely removed, blasted and repainted all detailing does is clean. If there is paint coming off of rust it will do nothing

It doesn't need to be powder coated at all, I would have them painted in heat resistance paint.

Electric is advancing rapidly. I'd say withing 5 years people here will be buying them and after that they will start taking market share. They'll get better at range and fast charging and it will start to change everything. The Tesla Mode 3 is already the best selling premium sedan in the US despite massive production problems.

I know a guy with a Zero electric bike in the US and he loves it. Takes the battery out and charges under his desk in work. These things are seriously quick. and 100% Torque.

What really kills it is the lack of noise unfortunately - it just cant give you the same level of excitement. But also the lack of gears!

In the latest edition of Carol Nash's Insidebikes Magazine it says it's worthwhile to remove the secondary butterflies and fit a power commander etc. to a ZZR1400! :pac:
It's also says remove the airbox when servicing .
The frame is the airbox so that's rubbish.

I did this to my old 09 ZZR. Great if you want to build upper body and core strength.

And I have it done to mine.
Never thought I read something from an insurance co. promoting it though.

They're a shower of little kunts down there.

There was a guy killed in a similar accident in the same place when a man who was waiting for his taxi to be valeted took a break in the park and a quad bike ran over him.

There's been a number of fatalities involving stolen bikes in the same area.
