Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Eh, I'm not a fan of the Polite vests but it seems to me like he was just being ultra-careful and making sure he was well visible.

He went to the cop shop to make a complaint about his treatment at the roadside and then they issued charges? His choice of bike, helmet and jacket were in poor taste but he shouldn't lose his job, house and insurance for it. I'd say there's more to this than they are saying.

Only after Emanuel later made a complaint to the police about his treatment was he called into a police station about the incident.

    That's where he went wrong

    Scrap the cap!

What's your opinion on a short arse(4"11) on a MK1 Fazer for a first bike?
Would you think it will be too big in height?

I know there's been a few questions re transporting a bike into the country, but boards.ie has a sh*t search engine so here goes again.

Can anyone recommend a courier to bring a bike from the UK back to Dublin please?.

As is the norm here too, my son has just sold another bike lol and is looking (I think there's a deposit paid) on a Ducati Hypermotard 850 SP and will need to have it shipped over.

Cheers, he mentioned those and Overlanders earlier so I said I'd throw a post up here for him.

    You've used them?.

Have a look at Kiely Movers. On Facebook, they are doing bike collection/delivery service from the UK to Ireland. Waterford based but they’ll deliver anywhere.

Could anyone advise on the best time of year to buy a bike? Would November/December/January be a good time? Looking to buy when there is low demand hence a better price. The prices on DoneDeal seem outrageous but we are in biking season

Could anyone recommend a driving instructor that knows the Dun Laoghaire area and would know the test route ? Cheers.
