Just a recommendation for anyone looking for bulbs.
I bought from power bulbs a few times and it was grand but they deffo won some more repeat business today.

I just ordered these after looking at a load of videos of them.

    http://www.powerbulbs.com/eu/product/cool-blue-intense-h4-two-bulbs

Found a discount code so they are 20 euro delivered.

Ya get free w5w side light with them but they are poxy normal bulbs. So i mailed and asked can they swap the free standard w5w for something with a white light to match with the main bulbs i ordered and it wasn't a bother. Swapped the crappy free bulbs for some philips ones worth about 15 quid.

And the order just dispatched and i only ordered a few hours ago.

Did they throw in the phillips side ones for free?

You get free side bulbs anyway when you spend something like 20 quid but they are crappy halogen ones that give out as much like as a firefly.
They swapped out the crap ones to the philips ones for nothing.

Just in the process of painting my garage floor. Removed everything out (obviously) and applied a polybond sealer to keep the dust down leave the floor nice and smooth, have a friend who got me the proper floor paint in the colour I wanted (Red) and gonna stick 2 coats on today and tomorrow.

Will stick up a few pics when done.

Not a good idea to put the polybond down first Gary, the paint will not bond to the concrete properly

I only recently done a warehouse floor and the paint supplier specifically said not to apply polybond

The proper way would have been to dilute the 1st coat and use it as a sealer then apply the 2 top coats of full strength paint

Had no choice really Darren the floor was just so dusty even after sweeping. I diluted the polybond down 1:5 so it was just a thin layer to keep dust down to paint.

Paint was like honey TBH it stuck all right, will need a 2nd coat tomorrow I will post pic tomorrow, ahh sure look we see how we get on if I have to repeat process in a few months so be it m8.

It will be a good job then, it's the only way to do a garage floor tbh

Red to match your bike eh😉

You have me all paranoid now all the same......ya ****er ya. Will see what its like in the morning.......fingers crossed.

It will prob be ok mate, its not going to be getting heavy wear and tear on it anyway

I was told that by putting polybond down 1st, the paint is only really sticking to the film of polybond instead of the concrete if you get me

I no from work some people would recommend it and others dont

As i already said if it was me i would have not polybonded it 1st

Was thinking about this for mine as well. What type paint did you use , I know you got yours thru a mate, but what kind of price would it be per m2? The good stuff seems quite expensive, but the cheaper stuff doesn't seem to be any good at all.

    List

No Idea the name of it but I can find out, its toxic as hell going down (thats the gel to harden the paint) but grand when it drys.

Leave it with me, but the cost for a 14ft x 8ft shed two coats was €120 incld thinners and hardening agent.

Very very nice, bike porn at its finest. I would have left the tiny bikini fairing off altogether and I am not loving the overdone spokes on the back wheel but its a meaty looking machine for 800cc.

They dont stick out as much on the front coz of the discs but the back is not great. But at least its different.....

Blue, I've had my suspicions, but I'm glad to see you've finally come out of the closet. They have got to be the frilliest knickered wheels I've ever seen. :)

Looking at replacing the bellypan on my vstrom. Thing looks like a piss pot.
I want to put a skid plate on but some of them are mad money.

    Looking at these two:

    http://www.heed.com.pl/index.php/en/engine-guard-heed-do-suzuki-dl-1000

    And:

    http://shop.enduroguardian.com/Steel-skid-plate-with-bracket-and-upgrade-hardware-black-STROM-SK-ST-BRKT-UP.htm

The Enduro Guardian one is nicer imo but the shipping is a killer.
Heed one is a total of 150 Euro delivered and the Enduro one is about 220 Delivered.

Best looking of all options is the altrider one but the price is mental!

    http://www.altrider.com/altrider-skid-plate-for-suzuki-v-strom-dl-1000/pid/656

    Another possible option!

Whatever you opt for Gary dont go with the silver, the thing with the crash bars etc is to blend them into the bike not make them stand out. Try to get black or if you get the silver spray it black.

Ah Jesus yeah, sure I wouldn't be getting silver.
They all come in black or silver.

Leaning towards the heed one because they are in Europe and free shipping.
