My rear tyre has become a sharp object magnet as of late...

2 fúcking nails in the last month

I had a new pilot 3 on my rear and got a slit in it from some builders shrapnel, rendering it unfixable and stranded, I carry a pump and strings for on the fly repairs, a nail would be about 5 mins to fix.

Carry this bad boy with me, picked it up Stateside, great piece of kit.

What really pisses me off is it's a Z8 Interact with only 350km on it

could you commute through Dublin city traffic on a gl1500.....
My commute is mostly motorway with a bit of city stuff.
I've done it on a pan no problem, but the gl looks way more comfy!

On the way in to town yesterday around 11:30 my car was left shaking from the speed of the biker going towards Blessington on the N81... I did think it was tad bit too fast.

Only to realise unmarked car with lights and siren blasting pushing cars out of the way to catch up!

I don't think they even had a chance to get the flips never mind catch up!

They might surprise you and there's a chance if the guy trying to get away doesn't keep a cool head, he could lose it on a bend.

Nice. Actually I was going to ask. the two roads that intersect at sally gap, one of them is fairly smooth and one is real bumpy - which one has the bad surface does anyone know?

Any idea looking at the clocks what speed he was doing on impact?

I would imagine he was sore the next day

Tempted to say he deserved it but he didnt...but yeah total dip **** doing that. So many unknown factors. If I was in the car I would say he was speeding might get away with a portion of the blame 75-25% against me.

He was already angry and should never have booted through like that, what did he expect? As pointed out to me by a guard, a green light doesn't give right of way, it means proceed with caution, which he obviously didn't do.

I'd guestimate 40-50kph. still fast enough to lose a leg.. so lucky in some respects. Still epically silly mind you

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,013 ✭✭✭✭Wonda-Boy

What was his end game there.....scare the intersection guy into not blocking the intersection ever again by flying by all MOTO GP styleyyyyyy!
