Met up with goodlad earlier on, that FZ1 is very tasty and the sound is just savage, I couldn't get over how light it was!

    very under rated bike alright

and not many for sale, as when people buy em, they hang onto em!

It really is freakishly light. Had to take the motorway home an had a bit of a blast and I still expect the front to lift because the bike is so light. Kinda feels like I may get blown over.

    Savage fun bike to drive.

    save your old one
make sure your battery is well charged (very bad things happen if battery runs out mid map change...)

good stuff - you redo the throttle position sensor afterwards? think they recommend to do so after every map change

The map I put on it was 20549 which is a Triumph Off Road map and the stock map was 20157.
Since I fitted the GPR Exhaust the bike seemed a bit bogged down low in the revs.
Noticed a big improvement straight away with the new map.

I did but you don't need a laptop to adjust the TPS.
you can start the bike without touching the throttle and leave it tick over for 12 minutes and it resets itself.

One of the pluses of these bikes is that they also adapt as you drive them.
The bike felt it was running a bit rougher at about 60 mph at first but by the time I got home from test spin a half an hour later it seemed to smoothen itself out.

If it is, it's not a great way to advertise a bike is it?:pac:
