Avast is free and offers more protection

It's ok. There many free antivirus out there too but there isn't a "one fits all" solution. An AV program is only as good as what it looks for so it can be good to do an occasional check with something else too.

€15 for 4 years protection, Panda are getting desperate. Had Panda about 5 years back, not a bad antivirus package, well back then anyways.

I find all the big names are reducing prices these days, mainly because there's several top free ones now, Avast, AVG, MSE...

I use Panda free on all my computers and it has great detection rate, I've tried all of the free ones and Panda is up there with the best of them, but an Antivirus is only as good as the user.
