    hey guys,does anyone know how flagpolling works,am currently living in alberta,canada,my visa is up in april,but I have got a new one.do I have to leave Canada and go to America and then fly back or can I just go to the nearest customs post in Canada,eg vancuvor??any suggestions

    Yeah,

    You'll need to cross the border and come back to activate it.
    You could drive down to the border and cross over and back either.
    Not Coutts though have heard bad things about there

    Nah not going to drive,easier to get a flight,too long to drive,so would it work if I got a flight to Washington and return to alberta??

    isn't washington airport in the states? you would need to be entering canada to get the visa whether thats by plane or driving across the border and going back into canada.

    Canadian Immigration will only be in Canadian Airports so you go to them as you re-enter the country.
