Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ipod touch - not showing any of my podcasts

Would really appreciate some help here. My Ipod touch uses iOS 7.0.6 and I downloaded the Podcasts app for, well, downloading Podcasts. Everything went absolutely fine - downloaded them, synced them to the Ipod...well apparently. There are loads and not one is showing up on the Ipod itself, yet it says in my Itunes that they're all on there. I got the Itunes U app too and that's working totally fine.

    Help?

Apple's Podcasts app has never been all that good, so I'd recommend switching to a different podcast client like Pocket Casts or Instacast. They're paid apps and don't sync with iTunes but instead are standalone apps that'll download new episodes the moment they're available.

I'd like to throw in Castro and Network here for a podcast client. Both are Irish made and beat the pants off Apple's official podcasting app.

Many thanks both - however I don't really use the wifi etc on my Ipod touch. Could really do with a podcast client that syncs with Itunes.

The Podcasts app is the biggest, buggiest load of ****e. Apple just assumes people use devices online all the time so constants messages about it not having an Internet connection. Worst of all, like the OP said, podcasts just aren't syncing properly or being marked as played. Time to try another podcast manager.

Never had a problem with the apple podcast app & use it daily, subscribed to five different podcasts & it automatically pulls down the latest & deletes the played
