Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Unlucky. Had possession

Fellaini was never worth that in fairness.

I agree but Moyes thought he was though. Doesn't occur to him to put him on the pitch to prove it however.

Sick of anything other than "sure aren't we're great" getting 10 people jumping down my throat.

would you not just post anyway & don't respond to them

Utd fans told by announcer in stadium to sit down,

FFS they are trying to leave, that's just cruelty

Regardless of the result tonight, I still think United will pull it off at OT. Olympiakos are poor, will be there for the taking.

A 3-0+ is a big ask. Keeping them out and battering them at the same time with the kind of pressure they'll be under won't be easy.

Jesus, that would have been huge. No player on the pitch you'd rather it fall to either.

He has a fair point, would you spend hard earned money to support a team majorly underperforming week in- week out, even if they were performing well but maybe not getting the results its understandable but this is a disgrace.

I was gonna respond to this but the RVP did that

    FFS Robin

Another feckin excuse Moyes will use in his post match bull**** too

I absolutely guarantee he will be blamed by some, expected to have turned the game as soon as he came on "if he was that good" despite not playing for a month!

Your are probably right, Utd are invincible at Old Trafford this season

That was utterly pathetic from Van Persie. Seriously. I know he's done a lot for United, but that could have been so utterly, utterly crucial to United's European hopes. And he blew it.

I sincerely think that United will scrape something in Old Trafford (something has to give), so maybe that missed chance won't have too much bearing.

But still. Sweet merciful Jesus. It was sinful...

Not on his right, no. He can score them but its about 50/50 with his right. Just as likely to end up in row Z.

  • what a chance to change the game completely
Exactly what we needed, it can still happen, 2-1 would not be a bad result but Moyes needs to be held accountable regardless of the result

To me Utd look wrecked, or have no interest in trying to win this game.

Ack now, we were unlucky. We got to the byline a couple of times with loads of crosses.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭Kirby

Smallings not a right back. If you play a centre-half persistently at full back, this is what happens.

  • Chris Smalling adds to inaccuracy of our crossing this season, is he wearing Skiis ffs

He's still a professional footballer who should be at least, able to cross the ball. There are no excuses

    Pathetic performance from United again.

  • Site Banned Posts: 4,925 ✭✭✭Agueroooo

    1.play the ball out.of defence

    2.play it to Carrick

    3.play it to the wing

4.run at the LB or RB

5.put your head down and hoof the ball

    6 . repeat steps 1-5

That's all im seeing now from Utd.

    Bizarre.

Relax. United fans are just experiencing what every football fan in the world experiences. Dodgy managers, rebuilding and a bit of uncertainty. You fans just had it handy under Fergie for the last 25 years.

Smalling is a good defender, who can be good in the air and dominate at centre back. He is not good with the ball at his feet (like many CBs). He should never be asked to play right back, we should have someone in the reserves ready to step up.

What, it hasn't even been a full season yet after about 20+ of winning constantly, regardless of how bad it's been going of late take it on the chin and support your team even if Moyes is inempt

That ****e attitude is how you turn into Liverpool
If you want to win you need to sort this **** out. It's clear moyes is inept tactically.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 296 ✭✭portcrap

What i cant understand is that Moyes Everton team always tried and played with energy. Although not the best of players they always put in a shift. This was probably one of his biggest strengths. He seems to have lost the ability to motivate the players since coming to utd.
