Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Borussia Dortmund won easily 4-2 today.

Poor Kagawa - Bet he wishes he never left.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

So Kagawa expected to come on now and change the game, when was the last time he played? A Month ago? yeah sure, should slot right in, and hey if he fails to turn the game we can say he isnt up to it

  • Registered Users Posts: 521 ✭✭✭steps_3314

Moyes is 100% to blame for this. He picked that team. Anyone with half a brain would not play young, cleverly, Valencia, Ferdinand for a game of this importance. Way to underestimate the opposition for the 6 month in a row.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,500 ✭✭✭Your Airbag

Clevs worst in a long line of terrible preformances.

How Moyes saw anything in the player to put him out there is beyond me.

How Clev starts in front of Kags is a mystery.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,536 ✭✭✭case885

Come on now cut us some slack, you dont often see a mid table team beating one of the giants of europe.. :pac:

Valencia, Cleverley, Smalling,Ferdinand & Young should not play for United again this season and hopefully move on in the summer. They are an embarrassment to the club

In fairness Kags should never play deep midfield.

Who "passed" to Rooney there!? Jaysus!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,591 ✭✭✭baldbear

He is destroying this club. Running it into the ground. I'd love to know what Fergies real thoughts are on moyes at the minute.
Apart from Rooney and Van Persie he hasn't much to go on. Fergie got alot out of those players. He needs 2 more years to be fair. And Fergie was the one who handpicked Moyes for the job.

    Rooney has been sh1te again

Stick Welbeck and Evra in there. Anderson will be gone too.

lol Smalling is rubbish as a Rb

If Rooney doesn't start playing like the top tier player/wage he receives I can see that 5yrs of his contract containing lots of scorn and bitterness aimed towards him.

unlike Ronaldo and Messi he doesn't put in the same intensity during 90mins.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,037 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

Only takes 1 goal from utd and their probably favourites for the tie again.

    LOL

Fergie was a manager. A human being.

You are talking like he is Gandalf the Grey!!

He didn't wave a magic wand and make them Champions of England!!

He got the best out of very good players!

Moyes, however, must be Gandalf. Because he's turned the lot of them into donkeys. That's some power.

A lot of abuse for Rooney but van Persie has been non existent. Is he up for the fight.

The sooner Vidic and Rio go the better. Both finished

Yeah becuase Arsenal are really going to be seeing the next round of the CL... Oh wait...

At least we're probably going to out to what looks like the eventual winners in Bayern. I'd love to see what they'd do to this version of United.

Moyes inability to motivate the team and deploy the right tactics is the most worrying aspects of this.

Where is the supply to both of them, stop ripping on the two who are isolated up front..Rooney is forced to drop deep because he's not getting the ball. RVP hasn't got a sniff of supply from the wingers.

Alot of players past their peak at United.

The fact that Giggs & Ferdinand can still get a game says alot about the lack of the required player investment

    whoscored reckon 3 shots, 2 off-target, 1 blocked.

Can't remember United getting a shot on target so far

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

    Next goal is absolutely critical.

At least when chelsea, real pay their players inflated wages they get good performances same cannot be said about united. I wouldnt give rooney 200,000 tbh never mind 300,000 a week.
