Credit card issue

    Ok so i lowered my credit card limit to say €1000 ok , then realise that im now at €1700 ( imaginary figures btw ) how could this happen if my limit is €1000 ?

    Does a customer have a leg to stand on here in regards the €700 arrears that he actually shouldnt have if bank stuck to €1000 limit

    No, its down to you to manage your own account.
    Its not impossible to go overlimit and depends on a number of factors whether an 'overlimit' transaction will be allowed to go through.
