We are looking for a 50"+ LED / PLASMA screen for a meeting room. Can you give us least cost, better and best alternatives? We don't need 3D or anything to fancy just high quality display. We currently have an apple TV to projector set up but the colour rendition is poor.

    Hi Asimonov,

apologies for the delay getting back to you - there is really very little left available at the budget end in Plasma as all the manufacturers are in the midst of changing into their 2014 ranges but here are a few options:

    50" LED
    Panasonic TXL50E6B
Beautiful TV with extremely slim bezel, its smart and has built in wifi & full web browser- It would be my choice if I didnt want to go bonkers on cost.

    http://www.richersounds.com/product/tv---all/panasonic/viera-txl50e6b/pana-txl50e6b

£699.95 / €874.99 ( check it out online in most of the ROI dealers - its over €1000 pretty much everywhere )

    60" LED
    Sharp LC60LE651K

Huge Boardroom friendly 60" LED - in picture quality terms possibly not as good as the Pana 50E6 but huge value at under £900 for a high specification 60" - it's even 3D - but does not have built in Wifi ( you can use an internet over mains adaptor no problem, which we sell as well for small money if required)

    http://www.richersounds.com/product/tv---all/sharp/aquos-lc60le651k/shar-lc60le651k
    £899.95 / €1124.99

    50" High Quality Plasma.
    Panasonic TXP50VT65

This IS the one I'd buy!

The VT65 is close to the range topping Panasonic range and this is the last of thelegendary plasmas from Panasonic - they just have the VERY best picture quality.

    http://www.richersounds.com/product/tv---all/panasonic/viera-txp50vt65b/pana-txp50vt65b

    £1579.95 / €1974.99

    ( I have ONE of these available at just £1399.95 / €1749.99 - check it out here:http://www.boards.ie/ttfthread/2057157399)

Thanks again and keep us posted if any of these are interesting or of course check out www.richersounds.com and if you see anything just give us a shout and we will try to do you a Boardie deal.

thanks - we're going to mock up the screens and see the difference between 50" and 60" - the VT65 is probably over specc'd / priced for us.

No problem - Good idea on the mock up!

..to be fair for commercial use the Sharp 60" is by far our best seller!

Thanks again and keep us posted

So there is a massive size difference between 50" and 60" - does the sharp price include delivery to ROI? How do we move it on from here?

    Hi there, unfortunately not.

The prices quoted were just for the products.

Delivery of the sharp could be anywhere from £29.95 to £59.95 depending on location.

Let me know where in the country you would need it delivered and I'll make a call to the couriers.

    Many thanks

Hi Asimonov, thanks for the reply.

I have been in touch with the courier and it will be £49.95 to have this shipped to you due to the size and weight of the pallet to Kilkenny.

We have stock of these available from our UK warehouse at the moment but stock is quite limited.

Please let me know if you would like to go ahead and have one of these despatched.
