Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Koscielny has great pace for a centre half so I felt he was important when the two boys (Alves and Alaba) were caught up the field.:D

Anyone not playing Mess I in the false 9 is doing it wrong.

    Neuer
    Lahm--Silva--Pepe--Alba
    Schweinsteiger--Biscuits--
    Muller---Iniesta---Ronaldo
    Messi

Vidal might suit the team better than Busquets but couldn't decide and Busquets has done more.

First team not to have Alaba at left back, and still it's a name so close it could be a typo!

Not enough Ribery or Zlatans getting mentioned but back four is getting a lot of concensus.

I thought of him, always struck me that he'd be better as a centre mid. Alba's out of form now but impressive for a good while before that. Ribery isn't better than Ronaldo and they play the same position. Same with Messi and Zlatan. Messi is nowhere near as good on the wings and Zlatan definitely wouldn't suit the wide forward role.

Muller is a great shout though, probably right on that one

    Neuer
    Lahm, Silva, Chiellini, Alaba;
    Vidal, Schweinsteiger,
    Ribery, Messi, Ronaldo;
    Zlatan
Tempted to put an in form Robben in ahead of Ribery but went with the latter due to consistency. Only other hard choice is who to pick beside Thiago Silva in defence, not a lot of great options.

Not as a defensive midfielder and I'd be tempted to say not anymore in general.

    Xavi > Busquets
Different positions, and these days, no in general. Busquets is immense. Just about doesn't fit in my team due to Vidal and Schweinsteiger.

Chiellini aside...this one is mine. Not sure who I'd put in, maybe Kompany, maybe Koscielny, maybe John Terry on this season. I'm also tempted to change it a little:

    Neuer
    Lahm
    Thiago--Koscielny--Alaba
    Schweinsteiger-Vidal

    Kroos
    Messi
    Zlatan
    Ronaldo

This way Messi is in the wrong position though.

The vast majority of people don't have Suarez in. Zlatan is better

    Come at me bro:

    Neuer
    Ivanovic-Terry-Kompany-Mertesacker-Lahm
    Vidal
    Yaya---Schweinsteiger
    Suarez
    Lewandowski

Disclaimer: don't think I've ever even seen Vidal play!

CSF nailed it. Possibly Bale for Suarez but that's debatable at best.

What my 11 could be in about 2-4 years:

    Courtois
    Cuadrado
    Varane
    Kompany
    Shaw
    Strootman
    Vidal
    Olivier Torres
    Neymar
    Kroos

    Touré

    Bale
    Suarez
    Messi
    Ronaldo
    Ribery
    Reus
    Ozil
    Hazard
    Aguero

Yeah I know my team looks a little bit unbalanced with Touré in there.....

Have a problem with a couple of your choices.

They're decent players but theres no way Messi or Ronaldo deserve to be in there.

Well obviously not Cleverley but some people just don`t get my weird humour!

Not sure about Evra, but he is up there with the best attacking left backs.

Can`t be sure about Pique..or Alves. Other than those 4 its serious.

    Busquests--Vidal

    Kroos

    Ronaldo--Aguero--Messi

Some tough calls and one or two in there as players I have soft spot for like Kroos. Think Alaba is quality bit of stuff.
