Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have always put a postage stamp on anything I posted to the social welfare office. I have just been told by someone that no stamp is required because it is a state run office. Have I been wasting my money all this time or are they wrong??

    Anyone know for certain?

I know its not a life changing amount of money either way but no point in wasting it unnecessarily either.

I have never put postage on any letters I have had to post to revenue, DSP, disability etc. I would write 'freepost' where stamp goes & always use correct address.

Damn....a year ago I knew this. But I've been using stamps for the last few months when writing to various departments. Only now do i remember. Feel like an idiot now.

Actually echnically it is not freepost & you are meant to put a stamp onto anything you're sending in. The only time it's freepost is when (I assume we're talking DSP here) requests you send in something to them & so will supply a freepost envelope. However given how much post is received, envelopes without stamps will generally always get through & DSP foots the bill to An Post
