What is a good soccer ball

PLaying astro turf and al the balls we have are crappy luminous nike balls that have synthetic leather. These balls are fine if the weather is grand but the minute it gets windy the hang in the air for an age.
If it rainingg there is nearly no point in playing as the zip everywhere.

Could people please make suggestion to what is the best ball for astro turf....a ball that has a bit of weight in it....

I have used Mitre balls on the asto before, they have some added weight but sometimes are like rocks to head but when they are used for a little while they come good, i think its the leather is a bit stiff when its new. I prefer them over the various Nike balls I have tried.

which mitre ones and where do you get them? how much etc?

The Ullsport one's are excellent, can be a bit pricey here but you could probably get one from sportsdirect or the likes cheap enough, last one I had cost €45 but lasted about 2 years, used twice a week indoor and once on Astro

Not too sure the model, I will check later on for you cos I should have a few lying around still. They were in Lifestyle and cost about €16 each I think

I'd take the ~€20 Nike/Adidas balls now over the old £10-12 1997-2002 ish Mitre ones any day. I've been through loads of both too.
