A warm chocolate brownie with a big dollop of vanilla ice cream on the side.

Heading off for a cycle on a warm day and stopping somewhere nice for a read of my book.

Saturday mornings going for coffee and cake in Limerick City with my nephew.

That feeling after a tough gym session.

Beating a tough boss in a video game :)

Going to the fridge and eating the whipped cream from the spray can and leaving the fridge door open as you do.

Drinking the milk from the carton and putting the empty carton back in the fridge.

(I love that my kids are grown up and moved out) :)

Fresh socks, jocks and sheets. Hearing a song you haven't heard in years and immediately getting dem feels. That burp that releases that terrible trapped feeling in your stomach and induces another binge of eating. Playing with a girls hair. Coming home from college at weekends and sleeping in your own bed. That once in a million haircut that doesn't need a week's growth to look good again.

..half an hour in a deckchair behind the house in warm sunshine, feet up on a convenient rock, gazing at the kerry mountains with cuckoo calling and two happy dogs racing round...

Watching annoying little kids who aren't being controlled by their parents fall flat on their faces after running too quickly around a supermarket.

So you take pleasure in seeing a poor young kid falling on their face? You sir, sound like a right ar$€!

For me, it's a cup of tea on a sunny morning on the balcony. Watching people, reading the news online, and enjoying the sounds of Dublin city.

Have you ever noticed that is the only time the parent(s) ever tell them they should not be running in the store.

When the cat curls up and falls asleep on my lap

Sitting out in the sunshine with a beer and knowing that I have absolutely nothing to do all day

That feeling of having just booked your holiday for the summer :)

    When my online shopping arrives

Reading all the special offers in the supermarket leaflets

Being on an empty train at night

Going for long walks at dawn
