A run of good tunes on the radio on your way into work.

    1) Pour Some Sugar On Me - Def Leppard
    2) Fool's Gold - Stone Roses
    3) Keep On Rockin' in the Free World - Neil Young

Productivity up by at least 33%

The worst Stone Roses song imo!

Love a bit of Def Leppard tho :D

    Love when that happens!

I'm happy because I just put lovely cosy bedding on my bed :D

Today will be spent lounging around relaxing as I've two 12 hour shifts in a row from tomorrow and I'll only be fit for sleep when I get home.

I had cause this morning to use an ATM machine to withdraw cash.
First went to the Bank Of Ireland which had 2 machines, one was broken and the other had a queue of 3 surly looking souls behind the current user.

So instead I went into the TESCO mall, where an unused ATM was 'ready for action' with nobody at all using it.

    Mission Accomplished. :D

Collected the little one from crèche this evening and the excitement on her when I put her 2016 winter fashion on her in the form of her first pair of gloves and her first little hat, both red and woollen. Beaming little red cheeks and blue eyes giggling when the hat slipped down over her eyes. I've never seen somebody so excited by her clothes - and she not even two yet. I sense this one is going to cost me...

With all the hullabaloo over the change in design with the auld Tolberones, I started thinking to meself: "Jaysus, it must've been at least ten or so years since I ate one. Can't even remember what they taste like." So, off to SuperValu I went and I picked up one of these as I didn't fancy getting one of the regular ones in case it turned out to be a waste of chocolate. So, got home, popped the thing in the fridge to cool it (because I hate room temp chocolate) and after about an hour, I took it out and snapped off a bit.
Lovely stuff! I like Swiss chocolate anyways but I'm not massively sold on nougat but it was very nice.
Not a patch on the gigantic keyboard-sized chunk of chocolate my brother bought me back from Spain with the whole almonds in it (Sweet Jesus, I'd sell both my ovaries and a kidney for another one!) but still satisfied my craving for almondy chocolate.
I also have rum and cola and am currently listening to Spandau Ballet.

McChubbin, there is a frozen dessert called Almondy. It's in the ice cream section in SuperValu, chocolate and almonds, gorgeous. It's also gluten free, which makes me very happy.

Ive just completed my Goodreads reading challenge for this year! I'd set a goal of 25books. I'm going to up it to 30 which should definitely be doable before New Year. It's a good feeling hitting a target.

Working with lovely people. It matters. When they are all consistently friendly, positive, supportive and encouraging you know you've hit the jackpot of working life. I've never worked as hard either so I'm definitely feeding off the positive environment. Long may it continue.

Excellent service! It's a book by the author Joe Hill , who is Stephen King's son. Waiting to start in it is also making me TH, have never read anything of his before.

I hate to be a schadenfreude but on "Trivial things that annoy you" Fuaranach mentioned Duolingo. To be honest I never heard of it but now I'm having a go at German and I'm up to 5% fluent. wunderbar! :)

I was 5% fluent after I saw my first, badly dubbed, German porno....

When you see drivers being helpful to each other, letting one out and flashing the ambers in return to say thanks. The courtesy in anonymous situation is heartening.

Gah! Checked Duolingo cos I'm trying to learn Finnish - they don't do it. How the hell am I supposed to learn how to pronounce those 20 letter words with multiple repeated consonants? :D

Back to TH. Wiped a very mouthy darter tonight. All talk and no darts. Only pride on the line but still............. :)

The brightness today is extraordinary. With leaves all over the ground the sun is getting through to places that were formerly been hidden by the leaves. It's just a gorgeous fresh, rain-free morning full of colour and light. Big breaths. Long walks. Appreciate.

Getting enough sleep, and waking up without being woken up.
