Un-blocking the toilet..Yep , someone has to do it and being the parent in this house , I tackle it .
Taytos and after eights now as a reward :D

My partner was in his mam's one day and the toilet water rose at an uncomfortable rate. I hadn't a plunger to hand but improvised with a long slushie container my son got from the ice cream man. To my joy it actually worked. Still can't believe it :)

Exactly!! Such a good feeling when something works out when you're pessimistic about it :)

Waking up on a Saturday and thinking you've work only to realise it's the weekend and you don't have any. There's an instant moment of joy that cannot be equaled.

Getting on a plane in Budapest yesterday, the passenger in fornt of me handed a small box of choclates the flight crew as a gift.

    Thought it was nice.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Hanging out with a friend that I fell out and have since reconciled with, and wondering why we ever fell out at all!

Will the passenger be handed a Hi-V vest upon arrival in Ireland I wonder?

My cousin and I did an advanced open water diving course over the weekend, and we passed. It was an exhausting couple of days but I'm chuffed to have it done.

Now we can get on with finding Atlantis. :)

New around here, right? So when I go into town today, dreading the interview re rent allowance etc, I stopped for petrol at the place I have only been to three times.

As I am leaving, the boss races out, and says he will wash my car free some time, or why not now? My car is WAS yellow and utterly filthy, my shoulders and wrists are too weak now..

So into the car wash I drive and the huge red and blue brushes attack the car! And the boss man scrubs away at the back too...

Says it is not perfect but next time he will have another go at it!.

In all my years in Ireland that has happened only twice.. Delighted...

THEN the person who interviewed me at the Intreo place sounded very authoritative, and it was great,. When later i saw the sae she had given me to return the forms, emerges she is an INSPECTOR, filling in for someone... What a gift.

I got a baby buttercup out here.... My "happy" is buying seeds yesterday in LIDL.

There are all kinds of shoots etc in this unknown garden but i want to make a real SPLASH of quick colour so I bought pot marigolds and 2 packets of trailing nasturtiums that will grow fast and flower.

Saw two people (who seemed like they hadn't seen each other in a while) get excited to see one another and hug on the street last night. Brought a smile to my face.
