I rarely go on Facebook but went on for a wee nosy today.

I bring my wee boy to a baby and toddler music class which he absolutely adores. The owner is the nicest and most genuine person you will ever meet.

When I brought my first child, I was a single parent and some of the parents in the class were snobby towards me and gossiped about me. I always thought they were b*tches anyway. The owner always went out of her way to speak to me and say positive things to me and my child.

Anyway, when I went onto FB today, someone had anonymously posted on a local group that she was a single parent and at the end of her tether as she had no support and no money to socialise etc. Just venting really.

The owner of the music group posted a message back that the lady could just send her a PM and her and her child could go to the music class for free.

What an absolute sweetheart! Put such a smile on my face knowing there are such kind people in the world. Easy to let the bad take over at times.

Watching the match and got a takeaway. OH had a mountain of food on his plate. I was distracted looking at this for a few minutes and said to him "how are we getting on?" meaning in the game but he looked down at his plate seriously and exhausted and said "I think I can get through it" :pac:

Every Friday in Supervalu I meet my neighbour and her two year old doing the shopping. The little one often sees me out with my dog. When she spots me in the supermarket she shouts "doggy" at the top of her voice, very cute.

Came home in bad form and switched on the TV to Vintage TV. Must have been just before the hour because I got two Joe Jackson songs - Is She Really Going Out With Him and then other side of the hour, It's Different for Girls. That really took me out of my mood so switched on the radio to Nova and got Steppin' Out.

A totally random triple play from one of my fav artists over two networks. Someone it trying to tell me to cheer the feck up :)

Just a few TH's today. My sister has gone to buy me a panini. I can't wait!

Also today I realised how much better and easier my life is now that I'm out of a toxic environment. It's amazing how negatively it affected my life and how drastically my life has improved since I've moved away from it.

I'm going out tonight for the first time in about 2 months. I'm going out for someone's 20th birthday and I'm nearly 8 years older than her but I can't wait.

    I think it'll be a good day.

In the UK at the moment, enjoying seamless data roaming at last - so I can post this from a train hurtling through Nottinghamshire, it works, and doesn't cost any more. If you've seen the first Mission Impossible movie, you'll know that some people would have killed for this capability - literally.

I was doing my shopping earlier in Aldi, as I approached the till there was a long queue of people who had their shopping on the conveyor belt. It looked like I was going to be there for a while behind the screaming child and arguing couple. This is meant to be my day off...

...then they announced a new till was opening, so I was straight in at number one. It was glorious. No chit chat, small talk, or old grannies fidgeting for their loose change.
