Had friends coming over today to shower/download episodes/cook/charge items etc as they don't have electricity. It's nice to be able to help people out and now I am very glad to have the place to myself again. Too much socialising for me altogether :p

Seen it 415 times already, but watch it.

Went into my local Lidl to buy a few beers on Sunday and the previous Tuesday. On both occasions the person in front of me let me through at the till as I only had one item compared to a trolley full that they had. Restored my faith in humanity. Thought I just got lucky the first time but no, seems there is more than one decent skin out there.

I was walking home from visiting home home when I saw a lady walking her dog on a lead.
Aw lovely! Grey long hair, about the size of a bichon frise, maybe a bit smaller.
I asked could I pet it. No sorry he doesn’t like that. The beast turned to look at me and it was a cat. Scariest thing I’ve ever seen.

They refurbished the coffee shop in work and it now stocks non dairy milk!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,812 ✭✭✭✭sbsquarepants

The EU says you can't call it non dairy "milk" anymore. Milk comes from the boobies of mammals, not almonds, not soya, not anything else.

Tits or get the fúck out:D

You have to call it what it is now. "Milk free piss"

Just saw a convoy of jeeps with Western Power Distribution on the side coming off the boat in Rosslare. Reinforcements have arrived and hopefully power will be restored for all (before Brian hits us!)

Seeing a fleet of ESB networks vans near my house and that tingle of anticipation ....confirmed by my next door neighbour shouting joyously from her window that the power's back... Earlier than scheduled!

Eh I think I'll stick with non dairy milk, sounds far more palatable.

I have been asked to fill in for the receptionist at my old job for tomorrow and Friday. I haven't been well enough to work for a couple of months so I'm delighted to be able to go in for a couple of days and have a bit of normality and a bit of money doesn't hurt either :D

People in work telling me that I look great and that I've lost a load of weight. This sickly diet seems to be going well :p

    It's basicly a matrix manager.

I have a on site manager but I remote into another team based in the usa that I am part of that I speak to once in a blue moon.

I'm really happy with the haircut I got yesterday! Barber made quite a fuss over getting it just right even though I only asked for a boring old short back and sides :)

The slog of the finding a place to rent in Dublin. Sending emails and getting no reply, must have sent 20 plus. Calling and spending your evenings doing viewings and knowing you are 10 others are viewing and you’ll prob never hear back. You nearly have to audition yourself to the new housemates, sigh

After doing all that ^^^ at last got sorted myself in a cool new house, ensuite n’all, bills included. It’s a better deal than I have now :D

Keep the head up :) my 2c is emailing ads on daft is a sweet waste of time, always call if there is a number
