Not The Trivial things that make you happy

I bemoaned the wet morning on the TA thread earlier but, because of the weather, I stayed home and my 3 year old grandson didn't go to the park and called to see us instead.

If anything puts happiness into a day it's a 3 year old telling you about the hot chocolate and marshmallows they had as a treat in town yesterday. The joy in a simple treat; you have to smile.

Crocuses. The purple ones that bloomed last week have been joined by white ones today. Flowers are deadly.

Have become a bit of a coffee nerd over the past few months. Managed to pick an inexpensive pod machine recently and have perfected a quite magnificent cappuccino by combining the machine's espresso with a manual milk frother.
Not entirely sure if it's the coffee or the money I saved myself on a fancy machine which gives me more pleasure!
