    My cat climbed up to the bedroom window again but instead of coming in, she's lying down on the windowsill, enjoying the sun. She looks so content :)

    Cheltenham! I love this week. I am not much of a gambler except for during cheltenham week.

    Will follow the racing during work on tuesday and wednesday. Watch it all live at home on thursday and then friday will be a day off work, in the pub for the first race and see what trouble we can get in to from there.

    In a queue for the bus and after the usual people got on I noticed a woman standing beside me. I asked her if she wanted to go on ahead as she was carrying a lot of shopping bags. She said 'Oh no dear you go on ahead, we all have to wait our turn, otherwise people can jump ahead.' Looks like some people can understand politeness while queuing after all! Something as trival as that just made my day. :)

    I got my prescription of blood pressure tablets yesterday on the way home from work, as well as doing a bit of shopping. I didn't really look for the tablets as I didn't need them yet, but knew I hadn't seen them last night or this morning.

    "I'll check when I get home from work" sez I.

    When I opened the door, there they were. I obviously dropped them somewhere and some lovely citizen saw the name and address on the label and dropped them in my letter-box. They only cost about a tenner, but it's nice knowing somebody would go out of their way to return them. :)

    I'm on my Easter holidays now!
