Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Kit Kats are the business for nibbling, Kit Kat Chunkies especially - there are so many parts to get off! Brilliant. Purple snacks are geat too, leave yourself with the biscuit, break them apart to scrape off the middle bit and then nom. Takes me ages to eat those kinds of bars then though :)

A free copy of the paper came in the letterbox this morning. Irish Times, D6W area. Anyone else? :pac:

Do you get Coffee Crisp bars in Ireland? Those are great for nibbling. Even better then Kit Kats or O'Henrys.

I've never heard of an O'Henrys. We have Toffee Crisp, is that what you meant or is this a coffee flavoured thing?

Anyone ever get a solid choc finger of Kit Kat? Life changing stuff :D.

It's not coffee flavoured. It is a solid piece of nougat/caramel, covered in peanuts and then covered in chocolate.

I've never heard of a Toffee Crisp.

It's the dream combination of caramel, rice crispies and chocolate.

Put it on your bucket list :)

I think so too, another Nestle bar, but in navy packaging who's name I cannot summon up....

Nestle Crunch. I was thinking of a Hershey's Krackel bar.

    Nestle Crunch.

Ah, yes. Similar, but no caramel if I remember correctly, just crispies in chocolate. It's the caramel that makes a toffee crisp, especially if chilled in the fridge for a few hours. :)

Sounds delish. Definitely on my bucket list. :)

The feeling of handing in a report/assignment etc. Getting all your work done and dusted, especially horrible tasks. Great feeling.

Boards.ie moderators winning an argument in a thread to moan about something not going according to the OP's self satisfying way. A bonus if the thread is'nt locked or closed so it's plain that the thread OP has no argument left to offer.

    Receiving Post.

I have no idea why, but when I lift up the curtain behind the front door, if there is post I get butterflies in my tummy with the excitement. If I'm upstairs and my OH says to me 'there is post here for you' I run downstairs all excited :-)

    I'm a little strange I think.

Ah my MIL loves this, my daughter adores her granny.

The grandparent-grandchild relationship is so beautiful to watch.

When you've been eating chips or something salty and you take that first swig of cold Coke.

That first glass of chilled dry white wine on a hot summer's evening.

The smell of freshly washed clothes.

Being able to apply the exact same amount of liquid eyeliner to both eyes and doing the flick thing at the corners and THEY BOTH MATCH!

Coming home from shopping and having full cupboards of treats and things.

That first cup of tea you have when you come home...the second cup never tastes the same.

The first slice of toast in the morning...the second slice never tastes the same.

Swallowing tea after you've eaten some chocolate.
