Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just home after a long day. Having toast and a cup of tea, with my feet up.

Got absolutely soaked on way home this eve, had a hot shower and into dry clothes, happy days.

Had a lovely woman in from Dogs Trust to give a speach at college today. She bought along her 5 year old Boxer dog Jake.
He was possibly the most well trained Boxer I've ever encountered. I spent ages rubbing him and he was rolling all over the floor getting belly rubs. Can't beat the affection a dog gives. :)

Sitting in the house on my own in PJ's looking at heavy rain out in the backgarden and just thinking how good it is to be indoors and have absolutely nothing to do for the day. All this done in complete silence.

When I see business people in the park on a summers day with their jackets off and top buttons loose. Feels like everything has slowed down even the working world.

Cooked dinners gone cold when I'm really hungry so I can eat real fast.

An ice cold beer and a joint after a hard day of working.

Seeing my dad reading the newspaper in the backgarden.

Removing a pair of socks that have tight elastic (saying to myself that I should have taken them off ages ago) or pulling out a lace from inside my shoe, especially if it's trapped right under my foot..... Shivers...

Buying a new T shirt and putting it on for the first time

A cool feeling and very soft

The mammy is able to get cotton T shirts to be like this after a wash. I'm clearly a fool as mine never ever get back to the lovely state they were in when I bought them. Bought fabric softener but it made no difference, I'm doing something wrong :(

A cup of tea and a good book
A clean house smelling faintly of Nag Champa inscence
Cooking or baking something nice and then enjoying digging in
A purring cat beside me when I fall asleep
Usually followed by the cat being shifted to the bottom of the bed and my husband snuggling up when he comes to bed later

Reading through this, I realise I'm utterly boring. But what the hell, I enjoy it.

Getting upgraded in a hotel. It seldom happens, but the last time I was staying away, for work, I was given a suite. It was a quiet night in the hotel, I know, and I stay regularly enough, but I was SO pleased.

Homemade burgers made by d'mammy. Can't be beat.
Also: Logging into FB and finding, through a mutual friend's status update, that your ex has gone bald.
I can't stop laughing. He looks like a potato! :D

Same thing happened to my ex-husband. I had not seen him for several years until he tried to friend me on Facebook. He had gone bald and I laughed my ass off for days.

A big bunch of anything yellow and purple with some green and it's like a visual happiness cue, the sight version of the smell of bread baking or coffee brewing.

    :)
